14th Annual NCHICA Convention
Sept. 7-10, 2008

CTGHS will moderate two panel discussions
at the 14th annual NCHICA Conference and Exhibition.
On Sept. 8, Natalie Berger, Ph.D., PMP, a
Delivery Director with CTGHS, will lead a panel discussion,
“Clinician Adoption of an EMR in a Public Health Care Teaching System.” This
panel will identify successful clinical adoption strategies that impact
morale and customer service; identify implementation challenges associated
with a community tax supported integrated healthcare system; and identify
areas that align implementation outcomes with strategic business objectives
in a clinical teaching setting.
Lynn Foreman, CTGHS’ director of executive
services, will moderate a panel titled “CPOE: Two Roads to Successful
Implementation and Post Implementation Outcomes.” This panel, held Sept. 10,
will show how to identify critical success factors and pitfalls for CPOE
initiatives and develop metrics for post CPOE monitoring and tracking.

2008 Epic Users' Group Meeting
